Art in the Park Show Information
All work must be designed, executed and shown by the participating artist. No commercial molds, kits, or mass-produced items will be accepted. Artists are encouraged to demonstrate their work during the show. All art shown must be family friendly. Violators of any of these regulations will be removed from the event without refund of any fees or dues paid.

CHALK SPACE Fees:
The chalk space fees for a 5’ X 7’ gridded panel space is $25.
No refund on cancellation. Credit will be applied to the 2023 Art in the Park event only.
How to REgister and pay:
We encourage you to register early since spaces are assigned according to date of acceptance. All space assignments are final – Please note special needs on the form at left and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
Once we receive your completed entry, we will send a confirmation shortly after along with further event updates. We will assign your creation space about two weeks before the event and send you a diagram of the location, along with instructions for set up, judging and timetables, canvas drop-off and other vitals.Decision of the jury panel is final. This also applies to space assignments, judging of work and prizes.
Regulations & Materials:
Your assigned drawing space will be an approximately 5’ X 7’ gridded panel in Monrovia Library Park at 321 S. Myrtle Ave. No adult-oriented content will be considered. Artists must supply their own NON-TOXIC, NON-OIL-BASED chalk materials. Drawing must be done on 10/1/2022, with prizes announced at 4 pm that day.
Chalk artists must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise authorized by MAFA.
